Instrumentation

There are three ensembles available; full orchestra, chamber ensemble, and keyboard only.

Full Orchestra:

Piccolo (double Flute 2), Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Bassoon, 2 Horn, 2 C Trumpet, Tenor Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Timpani, 2 Percussion, Harp, Keyboard (Synthesizer or Piano), Strings

Percussion Instruments needed: Anvil*, Bass drum*, Bell tree, Castanets*, Clash cymbals, Claves, Congas, Cowbell*, Finger cymbals. Gong or Tam Tam, Tambourine, Trap set*, Triangle, Tubular Bells, Wood block*, Xylophone

Instruments with an asterisk are included in the trap set. Castanets and anvil are also used in the regular percussion parts.

Chamber Ensemble

Piccolo/Flute, Clarinet in Bb/A, Bassoon, 1 C Trumpet, Trombone, 2 Percussion, Keyboard (Synthesizer or Piano), Strings. The chamber ensemble and full orchestra percussion parts are the same.
